Key Role Details
We are looking for Tax professionals with enterprise tax expertise who want to shape the future of AI in tax.
The work involves drafting and reviewing technical tax questions, gold-standard answers, citations, and grading rubrics.
Comfort with ambiguous or multi-step tax scenarios and strong attention to detail is important.
Key proficiency areas include: Federal Corporate Tax, State & Local Tax (SALT), Partnership Tax, Tax Controversy & Procedure, Transfer Pricing, and Reporting & Disclosure.
We will provide training resources and tools that will allow you to learn how to improve your own models and also learn data labeling techniques.
You must be able to commit at least 15 hours per week for this role.
New hires are able to start immediately.

Introductory questionnaire (5 minutes)
Technical test (candidates will receive compensation for passing the test)
Overview
You will be engaged as an independent contractor in a fully remote role that can be
completed on your own schedule.
Project contracts can be adjusted or lengthened depending on needs and performance.
Payments are made weekly via direct deposit based on hours worked.
New hires are able to start immediately.
Your work at Qofi will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
Time Commitment
Flexible, project-based work. Contribute as

Compensation
Highly competitive rates starting at $50-100/Hr
Compensations increases are available with
tenure and increased responsibility.

Qualifications
Required
2-3+ years of experience at a top-tier institution firm in:
• Big 4 tax advisory
• Tax law firms
• In-house corporate tax teams
• Former IRS or Treasury experience
Strong candidates have expertise as Tax Attorneys/Counsel, CPAs, Tax Managers/Preparers
Strong written communication skills with ability to articulate complex financial reasoning
Interest fueling the future of AI/ML applications in tax and accounting
