Key Role Details
We are looking for M&A associates and partners, in-house transactional counsel, corporate
generalists, and senior associates in transactional practices who want to shape the future of AI.
The work involves designing realistic deal scenarios drawn from your transactional practice (M&A due diligence, SPAs/APAs, securities filings, NDAs, governance, disclosure schedules), writing "golden" reference responses at attorney-level quality, and grading AI-generated responses against structured rubrics.
Comfort with ambiguous, multi-party transactional scenarios and meticulous attention to drafting and structuring is important.
Key proficiency areas include: M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Fund Formation, Securities,
Corporate Governance, Contract Drafting, Disclosure Schedules, and Diligence.
You must be able to commit at least 15 hours per week for this role.

Introductory questionnaire (5 minutes)
Technical test (candidates will receive compensation for passing the test)
Overview
You will be engaged as an independent contractor in a fully remote role that can be
completed on your own schedule.
Project contracts can be lengthened, shortened, or ended early depending on needs and performance.
Your work at Qofi will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
Payments are made weekly via direct deposit based on hours worked.
Positions are available now. New hires are able to start immediately.
Time Commitment
Flexible, project-based work. Contribute as
little as 15 hours/week or scale up based on
availability.
Compensation
Highly competitive rates starting at $100-150/Hr
Compensations increases are available with
tenure and increased responsibility.
About Qofi
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of professional experience in transactional or corporate law at a law firm, in-house
legal department, or similar
J.D. (U.S./Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. (U.K.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive)
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Interest in AI/ML applications across finance and law
Interest in AI/ML applications across finance and law
Bonus areas of experience:
Disclosure schedules or closing checklists
Private equity, venture capital, or fund formation exposure
SEC reporting or securities offering experience
Familiarity with virtual data rooms (Intralinks, Datasite, etc.)
